Great point to think about – books and movies can’t be compared because they offer very different insights into different aspects of a story.

One thing that many people don’t understand is that the term “the book is always better than the movie” is sometimes not true. There are a handful of books that I actually preferred the movie to the book (see below).

I always recommend that people read the book whether they see the movie first or not but don’t expect that 100% of the time the movie will be better.
