I will be the first to admit that the Nicholas Sparks movies tend to fall in the same basic pattern: girl meets boy, one or both of them aren’t interested, they eventually fall for each other, some crisis, and a dramatic ending. That being said, I never get mad when I read them or watch them. Watching the trailer, the male actor, Benjamin Walker, doesn’t exactly pull on my heart strings like some past Nicholas Sparks stars did (I’m looking at you Liam Hemsworth).

The Choice comes to theaters on February 5th, 2016.
