Personalized Star Wars Books from Put Me In The Story!

I recently updated my daughter’s room with a new Reading Corner and really wanted to include something special. As an avid book reader myself, I wanted her to grow up and see the wonders that books can create. I considered doing the sign that pointed towards the different places but it was going to be too expensive or too extravagant of a project for me. After some brainstorming I came up with this:

I took photos from the “real life” locations of fictional places… That didn’t make sense, I know, but I’ll explain. I did pictures of Hogwarts, The Shire, District 12, Whoville, Narnia, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, Tatooine, and Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory- all from the movies or locations where the movies were shot.

As I talked about here, I have always been an avid supporter of books being turned into movies. I think that set design and production can often get overlooked for movies in terms of credit but they are the people who bring a book to life! They have to read and reread small details to make sure that the overall effect is enough to turn a reader into a movie-goer. These are just a few of my favorites and I hope you love them too!
